'Do Rag

Good Morning everyone! Well it's bright and early and I just wanted to show you some pics of "P's" gymnastics show and of Kali Jo & my 'Do Rag outfit for our walks.

First a few pics from P. She was in tumbling class for awhile and they just had their show last Saturday. It was too cute.

Spring is finally here!

Wow I just realized how terrible I am at this. Maybe it's because I find it a little strange to post my life publicly, but I promise I will work on it.

Well let's see...it's been since March since I last blogged! I'm sure there has been a lot that has gone on...let me think...

Hmmm, well Evil is still working on the I35W bridge. Working 7 days a week and mostly 12 hour days! It is stressful and grueling for him, but it's work! I am still working at the credit union...very slow right now, and 1 weekend a month I am selling pull tabs at a local bar. Let me tell you that is NOT going to last much longer! I'm too self-fish with my weekends and it's getting far too nice out to be sitting on my bum! In not so exciting news...Kali Jo and I are walking EVERY morning a minimum of 2.5 miles. We are going to make it to the lake one day. It's not really that far, but you figure round trip we better work up our stamina! We just had her to the Vet and she's a little on the chubby side. 6 lbs' over weight!!! Good motivation for both of us, cuz I could stand to loose a few too! Dodger...well he's still chubby and loving it. How do you get a fat cat skinny? I mean I can't not feed him. If I do that then he just annoys the hell out of me in the morning. Maybe cut back on the treats??? I'm good at that, but daddy on the other hand...not so much! Sucker!!!

Well I think that's all I got for now! Coming soon...new puppy maybe??? I'm still trying to convince Evil of that one...almost there...I hope! Summer weekends at the lake and bonfires!!! Stay tuned to our little not so exciting lives at the moment! It WILL get better!!!

March gone???

OK so I don't know what happened to March, but it's almost over!!! This weekend is Easter already! Wow time flies! Well since it's been a while I need to fill in.

Evil is working on the St. Anthony Falls I35 Bridge. It is really grueling work. He works 7 12's mostly and that doesn't leave much time for us together. But the money is good. Especially when the alternative for him is being laid off at this point. At least he works the day shift so I can see him in the evening for a few hours. I like to get up and make his lunch in the morning. I think because he is working so hard...it's the least I can do. We actually got to make an escape to the cabin this past weekend. He was able to get a day off on Saturday. I was planning on going anyway, but I surprised my folks by bringing him. I don't think they have seen each other since the wedding...honestly. My niece P2 was staying with grandma and grandpa while mommy and daddy went skiing. So naturally I needed to get my fix too. That child is too much. She has such personality it's ridiculous. We came home Saturday night with Bella and Kali Jo and hung out watched movies. It was a really nice weekend. Spring is right around the corner, but you would never know it with the snow we got last night. But I am sure excited to spend time outside in the evenings and BBQ! Can't wait!

Well for the weeks ahead...I have my best friend's wedding in April, another friends bachelorette party, and I am really trying to get into a workout routine with Kali. I'll keep you updated.

Wedding

Well it went off with out a hitch! I'm married...yes married! It was a wonderful day. We were so lucky to have such nice weather considering it's -12 today not including the wind chill! My girls all looked so beautiful (of course because my sis did all of our hair), my boys looked so handsome and my niece was absolutely a doll. I had no expectations for her, but if I did she totally blew them out of the water! I don't think this little sweetie has a bad day any day! I mean we completely disrupted her schedule for nap and food, and she was still amazing! We had the best time...and after 7 1/2 years it was well deserved!!! I guess now we have to start the "family planning" talks. But that's a whole other post.

Upcoming Wedding

Well...it's coming up fast. Only 8 days away and I'll be a married woman. I can't hardly believe it. Evil and I are pretty excited. It is going to be a really fun day. Although I am feeling the stress of it right now. I never knew how much strain it can put on a family. At some point I feel like it is all a show for people I hardly know. I feel like we have invited people in the family the I genuinely could care less if they were there. I say that because a lot of these people have no idea what our life is like, and they don't have direct impact; but you have to invite them...they are family. It actually aggravates me a lot. If it would have been up to the two of us...there would have been no extended family involved. Just close family and friends, and then the money issue that keeps popping up wouldn't be a problem. That's all I'm saying! So in the end the day is about us, and if we are lucky we will get lots of money!!! Wish us the best!
